A Tribute to Last Nights Debate
To anyone watching the news last night, you must have seen what everyone else saw which was ABC news effectively creating a debate to boost their ratings rather than focus on the issues. I watched part of the debate late into the night here in Ireland and stopped after the first 20 minutes because nothing of significance was being said. The ABC moderators basically played to their ratings and asked questions that were not at all relevant to the issues at hand but would create the biggest media frenzy to date. I agree with you, but probably not for the same reason, Crian. I think it was way past time for Obama to answer some questions many Americans are very concerned about. I think character is every bit as important as the issues. Having said that, I think this entire elecion season has been a circus! Because of the media - both on the left and right - it gets worse every election season.

Well I will agree with you on the Circus Gayle, and I hope you have a great weekend too, its super chilly at the moment here in Ireland. Wouldn’t mind some Mass. weather right about now.
