Hillaryis44 = Rush Limbaugh
May 18th, 2008 -- Posted in American Politics | 6 Comments »That kind of rhymes is you say it in a certain way but all humor a side, I have to say I am utterly disgusted with the people at Hillaryis44.org. They justify their party splitting rhetoric as playing dirty in order to beat John McCain in the general election. Here is the most terrifying line from the latest post:
Democrats are losers too - they have lost their principles.
First of all, what kind of democrat/liberal would say that? For the last couple weeks, the owners of the site have been hammering away for the inclusion of the Florida and Michigan delegates. They blame the DNC, the tooth fairy and Santa Claus for not coming sooner this year but surprisingly they do not blame the parties in these respective states. They also state that Senator Obama doesn’t care about these states when he has made a point of saying that he realizes he will need to shore up support amongst working class white people and older folks. I could list all of the inconsistencies of the site but I would be writing for the next 25 years of my life. Senator Obama will sway some of these people which is why this whole electoral process is over and I really hope that the owners of the site will not be crying foul when the delegates are divided up evenly at the rules committee meeting. That situation being the best case scenario while the worst case for these supporters being that none of them are seated at all and Senator Obama wins the nomination.
I did a little research on the site and apparently it is run by Alex Rodriquez, a New York political shadow who is probably being paid by the Clinton campaign to turn her supporters against Senator Obama. Let us go with this thought here, this could be the Clinton end game if she is willing to wait till 2012 and Senator McCain’s eventual screw-up. After reading my recent Clinton book and McCain book I have come to realize why they are both such good friends… they are so much alike. They are both willing to do whatever it takes to move their careers ahead without any regard for the American people. Here is another crazy quote by NewMexicoFan (Commenter):
We have 50 states on this country and the Democrats in FL and MI should count Howard Dean should be fired. He should have known better than to appy the rules even harsher than they were written. We should have know from the YeHaa, that there was a problem.
This site really makes me angry because we are all supposed to be Democrats at the end of the day yet why are all of these people declaring they would rather support McCain? I guess if they would rather support McCain, they must be republicans in disguise because they would be supporting this guy:
I would urge some of the saner Hillary supporters, Liberals and people who find this kind of talk offensive to denounce this website and its owners so we can get on with putting the right kind of Democrat in the Whitehouse. (Please visit Wonk’s blog for more sordid details.)
