Victory At Last
June 4th, 2008 -- Posted in American Politics | 5 Comments »Well Senator Barack Obama clinched the Democratic Nomination last night in a typical “Obama-esque” fashion which is to say Senator Obama + 30,000 people = electricity. I stayed awake to almost 3am here in Ireland while the required delegates were slowly decreasing but eventually I had to go to bed otherwise I would have ended up sleeping with my headphones on (Not very comfortable once you wake up in the morning). Thanks to my good friend Tate who texted me the results from America so that when I woke up the following morning, I knew that Senator Obama had clinched the nomination.
I tried to find some crystal clear video of Senator Obama’s victory speech but the quality of the video on YouTube and the Obama website was not to my liking so I turned to redlasso.com. I like redlasso but they only allow you to take 10 min clips of their raw video feeds so I had to break down the Obama victory speech into three segments:
Senator Obama Victory Speech Part 1
Senator Obama Victory Speech Part 2
Senator Obama Victory Speech Part 3
